Corinthian 的词源

1590年代，“与 Corinth（古希腊城邦科林斯）相关”。早期的形容词是 Corynthoise（15世纪中期）。从1650年代起，作为一种建筑风格。作为名词，指“科林斯的居民”，出现于1520年代（Corinthies 这个词早在14世纪末就有记录）。
