Chamorro 的词源

关岛和马里亚纳群岛的土著人民，1905年，来自西班牙语 Chamorro，字面意思是“剃光、剃头、秃头”。据说是因为男性剃光头，但这个名字也与本地的 Chamoru 相关，意为“高贵”，所以也许 Chamorro 是一种西班牙民间词源解释。
