celeb 的词源

14世纪晚期，“庄严仪式或典礼”，源自古法语 celebrité 意为“庆祝”，或直接来自拉丁语 celibritatem（主格为 celebritas）意为“众多、声誉”，源于 celeber 意为“繁忙的、人口稠密的”（参见 celebrate）。“出名的状态”这一含义大约出现在1600年，而“名人”这一说法则始于1849年。
