Jim Crow 的词源

鸟类的通用名称，属于Corvus属（较大的种类有时被称为ravens），古英语为crawe，被认为是模仿鸟叫声的。比较古萨克森语kraia，荷兰语kraai，古高地德语chraja，德语Kräke。还有其他模仿鸟叫的名字，如希腊语krex，krekos。
