enchilada 的词源

墨西哥菜，用辣椒酱制成，1876年，美国英语，来自墨西哥西班牙语 enchilada，阴性过去分词形式的 enchilar “用辣椒调味”，来自 en- “在” + chile “辣椒”（参见 chili）。1861年记录为 tortillas enchiladas。
