sic 的词源

“such”是一个拉丁词，通常在印刷的引用中以括号形式插入，用来指出原文中的错误。它的字面意思是“如此，这样”，与si（“如果”）相关，源自原始印欧语词根*so-（意为“这个，那个”），这个词根也衍生出了古英语的sio（“她”）。从1876年起，这个词在英语出版物中被广泛使用，可能受到1872年法语中类似用法的影响。
