forecast 的词源

14世纪晚期，fore-意为“在……之前”，而casten则有“策划、计划、准备”的意思（14世纪晚期；参见cast (v.)）。“预测事件”的含义最早出现在15世纪晚期（cast (v.)“察觉、注意”源自14世纪晚期）。相关词汇：Forecasting。
