thoughtless 的词源

“心理活动的行为或产物，”古英语 þoht, geþoht “思考过程，一个想法；同情，”来自 þencan “在脑海中构思，考虑”（参见 think）。与德语 Gedächtnis “记忆”，Andacht “注意，献身”，Bedacht “考虑，审议”中的第二个元素同源。
